Sisters of Solace opened its doors in March of 2020 right in the middle of the pandemic. SOS born in response to the story of one woman who experienced a life filled with abuse and trauma leading to homelessness, mental health issues, and addiction. Our founder scooped her up and loved her through the monumentally complicated process of recovering and transforming her life. Through that experience it became apparent that there were many women in our community and beyond who without significant help would never get off the streets.
We are called to restore dignity, hope, and purpose to women survivors who have lost everything, enabling them to rediscover their identity and fulfill their God-given potential. Isaiah 61:1 call us to break down barriers and create a nurturing path toward healing, freedom in God, and transformation.
We are on a mission to provide a healing community for women that have been through trauma, trafficking and/or addiction. We provide classes, housing, career readiness, and much more to those that are not fortunate enough to have experienced these luxe
It’s not just housing it’s HOME and it is provided FREE of charge for the entire 2-year program! For many it is the first safe place they have ever lived. We currently have room for 9 women and are hoping to add another home soon!
Our program provides free classes for the those that are attending the program. Classes include life skills, art therapy, boundaries, woodworking, and more! These classes will help the ladies in our program obtain the skills they need to conquer everyday life outside of addiction & trauma. They are mandatory for the ladies attending our program and are provided by many wonderful volunteers that are using their passion for a great mission!
We teach world class customer service, merchandising, product development, hospitality, business etiquette, leadership, work ethic, character development, communication, and marketing are all part of our career readiness training. Our goal is for the ladies to develop valuable skills that will help them succeed in any career they choose
Solace Market and Coffee Shop brings hospitality and healing to our community. It gives the opportunity for the ladies to practice the skills taught in our career readiness classes. We opened our doors on March 2, 2020. We’ve not only survived a rather disorienting first year, but have thrived and developed a comprehensive approach to healing and economic freedom for the women who find their way home
Our eight bedroom house is open to women survivors of trauma and addiction who have no place to call home and are willing to do the hard work of pursuing healing

Our program requires a two year commitment while they continue to heal and build a foundation for self-sufficiency upon graduation. We offer our graduates a dollar-for-dollar matched savings program up to $1000 which can be applied to housing, education or the purchase of a vehicle.
In addition to housing and basic supplies, SOS House also provides a full time care coordinator who will understand our residents’ stories along their strengths and barriers. Our coordinator will then develop a plan for each woman to access community services to address and overcome life challenges.
Only our community partners and approved volunteers will be allowed to visit.
